2020 AGM GOES VIRTUAL

The LRMTA Annual Members Meeting was held in accordance to Government Covid-19 regulations virtually by Zoom on Monday 19th October 2020.

President Richard Douglas opened the meeting welcoming members and guests at 7.00 pm and following approval of the 2019 AGM minutes, Annual Accounts and Annual Report Richard Douglas proprietor of Carnivore Foods (Sidcup-Bromley) in Kent moved onto other business.

The President with AJ Luckhurst MinstM (Immediate Past President) Paul Hambling (Honorary Treasurer) Dave Marshall (Asst Hon Treasurer) were joined on the Central Council and Management Committees by Robin Dear, Peter Godfrey, Alan Jennings, Gerald Paine and Jim Sperring.

AFCL Ltd were approved as LRMTA accountants but due to bereavement of Harry Berry, Frank Gray and Albert Hambling during the year there were no LRMTA Vice Presidents.

Honorary Vice Presidents were confirmed as: Bill Jermey (Chairman - Institute of Meat) Andrew Parker (Master - Worshipful Company of Butchers) Ian Kelly (Chairman - BDCI) Gregory Lawrence (Chair - Smithfield Market Tenants) Patrick Martin (LRMTA solicitor) Rod Addy (Editor - Food Manufacture) Mark Sherlock (Superintendant - Smithfield Market) Marcus Walker (Rector - St Bartholomew the Great) and Fred A'Court (MTJ consultant).
